Something You Want So Badly

I once wished upon a wishing star

What I wished I cannot tell.

For they say it gets jinxed

And though it’s been years I wished

I still want to pursue.

I remember the night when I wished

I can still feel the same faith

In my heart

That night was darker than other nights

Just like the one from vangosh art.

It’s the hope I think that holds me

That someday the wish will come true

But I have honestly waited so long

That now I have put it in queue

It’s strange that something that you wanted so badly

Becomes a faded dream in time

But I still find myself looking up

At least once in a while
